What’s an Intuitive Energy Healing session like?

Do you like surprises? Get excited about trying something new? Personally, I like to know what to expect when I’m going into a new environment or experience. I like new things, but can enjoy them more when not *everything* is a surprise, you know? That being true, I thought it might be helpful to tell you a little bit about my Intuitive Energy Healing Sessions. Honestly, each session is completely different on many levels (every individual and their circumstances vary, and that affects the work we do together) but there are things that are similar that I can share

Your Body Knows

In life coach training, I learned something that drastically shifted how I look at my physical body. Did you know… The verbal part of the brain processes 40 bits of information per second? Pretty impressive, I think! Until you compare that to the physical body, which processes 11 MILLION bits in that same second. WHAT?! Yep. Think of all that you are missing out on when you just use what your brain tells you to navigate through life.   My body and I have gone through a lot together. I didn’t always trust its wisdom. (And whooooo did I pay

Finding Stillness in the Real World

Finding Stillness in the Real World…simple ways to quiet your mind that don’t look anything like traditional meditation Most folks would agree that 2020 (and 2021…and 2022) left us wanting more peace in our lives–and searching for tools and tricks to deal with the isolation and the anxiety that living in a time of pandemic brought to the surface. But what about now? My life is not “back to normal” nor do I expect it ever to be what it was pre-pandemic. What about you? I’m a Master Life Coach and Energy Intuitive… and I also have ADHD, love learning

Not Just Coffee: Why I love my Morning Ritual

Do you like mornings? Do you feel like your mornings set you up for the best day you can possibly have? I’ve never been a morning person. In my early 20s, I had a job where I started work at 6:15am, and I did it, but I was certainly not my best self at that time of the morning! Us life coach types have all sorts of tools to offer to our clients, based on the challenges they are facing in their lives. But there are actually very few tools I think could be helpful for anyone and everyone. A

it’s okay to be scared–center yourself in love anyway

“Wow, that must be a really nice thing to hear!” said the man walking by with his wife.  Little did he know what had just transpired… and that I was still physically shaking from it as I walked away. *** Some background: I am used to being approached and talked to by “strangers”. It’s just part of who I am… I guess I put out the vibes of a safe place to be seen and heard.  This has served me in my healing and coaching work, but has also been happening in everyday life for my whole life. I have

Emerging from the Cocoon of Winter

A lot of folks seem to have a really strong opinion about springtime—from what I understand, it is BELOVED. As someone who has an allergic reaction to many things that bloom and grow during this time of year, I’m not quite so eager for the season to show up in all its glory!   I do, however, have a new appreciation for coming out of the winter. As I emerge from my March pit of grief, there are a number of things that catch my eye and bring a sliver of hope: blooms on the Camellia bushes in our back

As I Move Toward the 3 year Anniversary of Torin’s Death

I notice that I have become more “functional” in living again, though the excruciating sadness is always just below the surface.   Sayings like “you can create the life of your dreams” still trigger me–I mean, there is no “life of my dreams” without my son in it. “It will all be okay” doesn’t bother me anymore, probably because I have changed my definition of “okay”. (Hmmmmm, maybe at some point I will be ready to look at changing my definition of “life of your dreams”?)   Those first two are stellar examples of my abundant use of quotes now.

Letting Go of the Number on the Scale

Devan and I just got back from a weekend with extended family in Washington. It’s always a great time, as I get swept up into the fun and chaos of so many people under one roof. Laughter and love and stories of the past, all bundled up into a couple of days spent with some of my favorite people in the world.   Another thing that is there is a scale.   Through the years, I’ve had a love/hate relationship with scales. I’m sure many of you understand–the joy some numbers can bring. The torture and frustration others carry in

Do you WotY?

2022 is coming to a close…   and it’s that time of year when I start reflecting on how things have gone the past almost-12 months, and start dreaming about what I want to create in the coming year.   I gave up making New Year’s Resolutions a long, LONG time ago. Did you know that nearly 80% of folks who make a resolution end up abandoning it by FEBRUARY?! What’s the point?   I’ve learned that there is an alternative to setting an unrealistic “resolution” for myself. I do much better with pouring my energy into a focus point

Finding a little PEACE

How are you doing, friend?   No, really… how are you? It’s the week of Thanksgiving, and in my experience, this is when the shit starts flying towards the fan.   If you cringe when you think about cooking another turkey (you hate turkey!) or want to scream when you hear the beginning strains of “it’s the moooost wonderful tiiiime of the yeeeear” then it might be time to take a closer look at what your “holiday season” has become.   I want to help you experience more PEACE this year, and that looks like:   P: please and
